Lenin in London was first staged at the Torriano Meeting House on the 9th and 11th of May 2003, and again on the 15th & 16th of November 2003 at the same venue. From an original script by Penelope Dimond, the work was directed by Josh Darcy.

The New Factory staged two revivals of the work, at and as benefits for The Marx Memorial Library, on September 19th 2011 and again on June 19th 2015. The revivals were directed by Gary Merry

The play itself is a short piece (less than an hour), focusing on the domestic life of Lenin during his pre-revolutionary visits to London. Set against the backdrop of a May Day rally at the Alexandra Palace in 1903, we see Lenin in public and private moments, both working and relaxing.
