The New Factory of the Eccentric Actor was formed in 1996 with the aim of staging large-scale theatrical work in spaces not usually used for theatre. A loose collective of performers, musicians, writers, designers, and others, the company, inspired by momentous and often forgotten episodes in radical history, has produced multiple events free to the general public.
