1905 was originally staged at Brunswick House Vauxhall on the 4th, 5th, 6th of March 2005, at a time when it was little more than a building site.

It was staged again at Mary Ward House in central London on the 25th, 26th, 27th of November 2005.

This examination of the events of the year long 1905 revolution in Russia, which included the original ‘Bloody Sunday’ massacre was co-directed by Gary Merry & Josh Darcy.

With a cast of 40, plus musicians, Penelope Dimond and Josh Darcy of The New Factory wrote this promenade piece, with original music by Martina Schwarz.
