1848 was staged in London’s famous Conway Hall on the 22nd of January 2014. This large-scale work with a cast of 70 explored the Europe-wide revolutions of 1848, the most widespread wave of revolution in history.

Written by Penelope Dimond, with original music by Martina Schwarz, the production was directed by Gary Merry.

As with all New Factory shows, this was a free event.
